This is one of my favourite ways to earn money fast on the side! When it comes to surveys, you can find a few websites that send you surveys every day and rack up points that you can redeem for money. You can get started with Swagbucks, which lets you convert your points to cash or gift cards at your favorite stores.
5. Participate in research studies
Similarly to surveys, you can find research studies online as well. The bulk of the research studies I have participated in have been conducted by grad students at different universities.
You can find these studies by checking out university websites or searching “paid research studies” on sites like Kijiji. You should get some results for studies conducted both in person and online.
6. Sell stuff
Remember, you’re not the only person out there trying to save money! Lots of people look to purchasing secondhand things as a way to save money. You can list old belongings you don’t use anymore, whether electronics, books, clothes, collectibles, and more, on sites like eBay or letgo to make money fast.
7. Get a part time job
Even if for a short term period, getting a part time job is one of the most straightforward ways to earn money fast! Even better if it’s a part time job you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t had full time capacity for.
8. Babysit or pet-sit
Finding occasional or consistent babysitting and pet-sitting gigs is easy with websites like Care and Rover. Create a profile, set your rates, and let the jobs come to you!
9. Become a ghost writer
Whether for blog posts, social media posts, or manuscripts-in-progress, you can earn money by becoming a ghost writer. Depending on the writing in question, you can charge per word and an hourly rate for time spent with your client to get the context and research necessary to do the work.
10. Become a tutor
Students of all levels need tutors. Post an ad on campus or online offering tutoring services for whatever subjects you feel comfortable with.
11. Monetize a hobby
If you have a unique skill or talent, you could very well make money off of it! Here are some hobbies you might consider monetizing:
